Blue. The color of the sky, ocean, and distant mountains. It’s so prevalent in our day-to-day lives that it’s as much a neutral color beige. But it’s also a stunning color confident enough to stand on its own.
Blue is a foundational trend in the kitchen year after year. Everything from pastel, robin-egg blue to navy blue is welcome. It can function as the backdrop or as a statement-making accent.
You can use blue plentifully anywhere in the kitchen: on the backsplash, walls, even the ceiling. Our favorite application of blue is on the cabinets. Use medium to dark blues across all the kitchen cabinets or go for a two-toned approach and use it just on the island. You pretty much can’t go wrong with blue.
