Our biggest tip and trick is to trick your kitchen out with cabinet accessories. Here at RTA Cabinet Store, we happen to think Rev-A-Shelf is one of the best and most well thought out lines of kitchen accessories on the market.
Over the years, we have inevitably gotten a few complaints from clients, oftentimes about how much storage their cabinets have. While the vast majority of our customers are thrilled, others didn’t find what they were searching for with their initial installation. Never fear, though, because the solution exists, and we have turned those rare frowns upside down by offering the Rev-A-Shelf line.
Rev-A-Shelf additions are great when combined with RTA cabinets, as they are both standard sizes, so you know one will fit inside the other. It’s a great idea to think about installing these accessories while planning your new kitchen, as you can get certain cabinets, such as thinner half door size pull-out cabinets, and put an accessory in it to, for example, intelligently hold all of your cooking pans and lids.
Most of the in-cabinet Rev-A-Shelf additions add approximately four to five times more shelf and storage space than the traditional two or three shelf configurations. This means that if you installed a Rev-A-Shelf organizer in just two cabinets, it would be the storage equivalent of adding six more cabinets to your kitchen, yet it will all be organized well and available at your fingertips, in (well, what used to be!) a small area.
Other organizers are available as well, such as sink-front shallow drawers for soaps and sponges, cabinet door pot lid holders, spice racks, cutting board holders, the list goes on and on. Your kitchen could become that organized storage paradise you always wanted, but could never achieve with cabinet shelves alone!

With the money you save over going to a brick and mortar store or getting a custom cabinet installation, you can install Rev-A-Shelf accessories in most, or all, of your cabinets, and still come out with a fantastic and storage-rich kitchen that is still the cheapest option of the bunch. It’s a very inexpensive option to even try one of the Rev-A-Shelf installations, and they are pretty easy to put in as well.
