If you’re familiar with the trend of RTA or ready-to-assemble cabinetry, you probably already know that “cheap kitchen cabinets” doesn’t mean “shoddy kitchen cabinets.” We don’t know about the competition, but our RTA cabinets are high-quality, sturdy, and made of top-grade materials, like furniture-grade, warp-resistant plywood for the structure, and real hardwood for doors and drawer fronts. What you might not know, however, is just how easy they are to assemble.
Here’s what you need to do a fantastic job assembling our kitchen cabinets, to wind up with a professional result as good as, or better than, what you’d get at a normal cabinet retailer:
A Screwdriver
And that’s it.
No, really. Our cabinets are designed for easy, secure, sturdy assembly using cam-lock technology. Structural elements fit into slots, so the wood is bearing the weight in all the important places, not the cams themselves. Our premium cam-locks let you know when they’re secure, so you’ll never wonder or worry. Even better, there’s never any worry about stripping screws!
Our instructions are clear and easy to follow, and with a little faith in yourself, you can absolutely build professional-grade kitchen cabinets right in your home, with nothing more than a screwdriver.
(Optional) Some Wood Glue
You can absolutely assemble our affordable kitchen cabinets with just a screwdriver, don’t get us wrong! They’ll be sturdy and long-lasting. You can even assemble them alone, if you like, though you’ll need a friend to help hang the wall cabinets. Still, if you want just that little extra bit of finesse, a little wood glue in the seams will help extend their longevity, making extra sure they never shift.
Check out our website to see our dozens of models in all the popular styles and themes, and you’ll quickly realize that RTA cabinets are not only easy to assemble and at least as sturdy as what you’d get in the store (being shipped fully assembled isn’t good for cabinetry!); they’re great-looking as well, and allow you tremendous flexibility in kitchen design. Best of all, our FREE DIY Kitchen Design Tool is available, as are our kitchen design consultants.
