A large percentage of people want their furniture, and especially their kitchens, to be bright and light, adding to a feeling of space in their homes. One of the reasons such cabinets were so popular was due to the species of wood found in those areas. Some of them took dark stains very well, and were meant to last not only a lifetime, but literally forever. Other places stained such cabinetry to be dark, because older wooden furniture and cabinets of super high quality began to take on a dark sheen as they were used and rubbed to glossiness. The dark wood cabinet conveyed high quality, class, and wealth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While in yesteryear the only way to get such cabinets was to have them built custom for your home, palace or castle, such is not the case today. RTA kitchen cabinets have come a long way, and have been engineered to be super easy to put together, long lasting, and to look fantastic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
