RTA Cabinet Store is Adding New Cabinet Lines!

Over the past couple of months we have been working hard designing a couple of new kitchen cabinet lines that we are going to be manufacturing, along with a couple of kitchen cabinet lines from other manufacturers that we are going to start handling as well.   By hand picking which cabinets we are going to adding, we can insure that the same quality and features will be available in all of our products.  Keep an eye out for some new door styles as well as some different finishes that are coming.   In addition to new kitchen cabinets, we are also going to be bringing in some new styles for the bathroom vanities.

Look for our Windsor Maple cabinets to be featured in the upcoming HGTV show that we are shooting.   Going to have some surprises in there as well, such as how to install a farmers sink with our cabinets and a built in oven in a base cabinet.

Day 1 of Redondo Beach Project for "Carter Can"

Today was the first day in Los Angeles at the latest project for HGTV's hit show "Carter Can".   The house is a really nice house in Redondo Beach, about 10 minutes south of the LAX.   On this project, they decided to use the Windsor Maple cabinets to make the kitchen look a little brighter.    We were able to install most of the base cabinets and some of the wall cabinets today, and they look awesome!   What is interesting about this project is that we had to modify some of the cabinets for the materials they wanted to use.  For the sink base, we modified cabinet to fit a farm-style sink, and they are sticking an oven unit in a cabinet (which is an interesting design technique).   They also have a "special" project that will incorporate dishwasher end panels in a unique way (more details to come).  Keep an eye out for details on how to make the custom cabinets that they are using in the project.   As with the last show, we are taking plenty of pictures and will be adding them to the site as soon as we can.

Installing a Farmers Sink in our Sink Base Cabinets

One of the cool things that came out of our latest episode of "Carter Can" is that we had to modify several of the cabinets to accommodate the appliances they were using.   Since they were planning on installing a farmer's sink or apron sink in the kitchen, we had to modify the sink base cabinet in order for this to work.   While each kitchen cabinet line is going to be different, we now know what steps to take to modify the cabinet.   So if you are getting ready to remodel your kitchen, and you wanted to go with the country or tuscan look with the apron sink, give us a call and we can tell you how to do it.   As we do more shows, we are looking for creative ways to use our kitchen cabinets to create unique or custom looks!

Pictures from 2nd Episode of Carter Can are now up on the site!

It took me a little bit longer than expected, but I finally got the pictures from the latest episode we participated in up on the site.   If you go the Information tab and select News and Press Releases, it will take you to the links for both episodes.  The kitchen really came out awesome and the Windsor Maple Cabinets look great!  I hope you enjoy the pics, and look out for our next television appearance, which should be coming up on the DIY Network for the show "$10 Grand in Your Hand" which is shceduled to begin filming at the end of the month.
