Coming right off the long Memorial Day weekend, the film crew from the show Kitchen Impossible came to the King of Prussia warehouse today to film part of show here while they were "shopping" for kitchen cabinets.   They brought along the homeowner, who just happens to be Danny Bonaduce- local Philadelphia radio host and television celebrity.  We are installing the Autumn Shaker cabinets in his house in Old City Philadelphia, which happens to be a converted warehouse.  

While we don't know what will actually make the show and what won't, the host Mark Bartolomeo, spent some time talking about the kitchen cabinets, all of the features, and even showing some of the upgrades that are available. I can't wait to see the episode to see how much of the showroom and building make it into the show.

While we have done numerous shows on both the DIY Network and HGTV, the first episode actually just aired last night.  Did you happen to watch Money Hunters last night at 8:30??   The host of the show did a walk through of our showroom, and talked about our cabinets for a couple of minutes.   It was great exposure for both RTA Cabinet Store and the kitchen cabinets that we import.    Jake got a quick appearance in the show when he was delivering the Autumn Shaker cabinets to the house, and Jonelle helped the homeowner tally up the total cost of the kitchen.   Keep checking back to find out when our next appearance on the networks will be!

After a nice long week in the Outer Banks, it is back to business as usual at RTA Cabinet Store. We are adding some new items to the vanity collections. For now it will be limited to the basic Oak, White, and Sunset Vanities, but we are adding a vanity drawer bank that is 12 inches wide and 21 deep. This will give greater flexibility when laying out your bathroom, since you will be able to create combination vanities to fit any size space (rather than just using stock sizes). This is a much needed addition to the vanity lines! Keep posted for more new items coming to the site.... get ready for the eco-friendly line that will be launching in the next month or so.

I know it is short notice, but the second episode of Money Hunters that we participated in will be airing tonight on the DIY Network at 8:30. Tune in to see how they transformed this house, and how our cabinets turned out. They didn't film any of this one at our office, so I am not sure that anyone will actually be in the show, but you never know....
