What is the biggest challenge for the average homeowner when getting ready to remodel their kitchen? Often it is coming up with the actual design. Most people have a vision of what they want it to look like, but are nervous about trying to do the kitchen layout themselves. Fitting the cabinets into the layout and making sure they account for all of the necessary cabinet sizes, seems to be an overwhelming challenge.

Our goal is to make the kitchen buying process as painless as possible, so we are taking the plunge and designing our own kitchen layout program! This is a huge investment for us, but I think in the long run it will make it easier for our customers to select their cabinet style, layout their kitchen, and purchase everything they need from the comfort of their home. We are still a couple of months away from having it completed, but keep an eye out for a new look and completely new way to buy cabinets!

Our interaction with the DIY Network recently expanded when we picked up two episodes of the new show "Money Makers".  As part of the episode, the camera crew will be coming to our warehouse to show where the cabinets come from, how orders are fulfilled, and the behind the scenes of our business.  We are really excited about being more involved, and having part of the show based on a visit to our facility.   So keep an eye out for our Autumn Shaker cabinets in the show, along with the behind the scenes shots at both our King of Prussia and Pocono facilities.   This episode is going to start taping at the beginning of May, so pictures and highlights will follow.
